Family
Main Task/Goal
- Talk about Family.
- Use contractions with negative present of be.
- Read a school form about family.
- Complete a chart to organize your ideas.
Vocabulary 1:
Ask students to give some words or phrases about the members of a family tree and then give them a summary.
Activity 1
- Different student makes his/her own family tree card. Try to describe the relationship between different family members.
- Try to describe one family member who is not beside you and tell others why you miss him/her so much. (Target: encourage students to state their own ideas without interruption.)
